I’m looking forward to tasting the raspberry-flavored beer when it makes its way into Old Chicago’s. I’m a fan of the berry-flavored beers, but I’d like to see something more exotic; such as a chile beer, chocolate, or some other fruit and/or berry flavor. I know that there are cherry fans out there– maybe look to the local tea industry for ideas, see what else works well for them.
I just tried the Amber Ale. At first it had a slightly sour taste, with a sweet back. After the first taste, though, it was really good. It doesn’t make you feel really full or bloated. The molasses mixed with hops and yeast makes my mouth happy.
